Below are the original emails between myself and the moron on eBay calling himself gdgssales (has now changed
or reverted to spmm_tech).
All I wanted to know was how much he charged for handling. Apparently he was going to take me for a ride on
shipping costs to make an extra buck.
No text, except my email address, has been altered but it has been formatted for easier reading.
Start from the bottom.

I'll be damned if I let you have the last rude
words in this matter.
I still don't understand what your problem is.
Nowhere in the previous
emails have I said anything against handling
fees, I just wanted to know
how much it is. Appearantly you are not
intelligent enough to provide these
numbers or was it the word "specifiy"
you didn't understand ?
Hope you wake up on the right side of the bed
tomorrow. You know, rudeness against
customers don't pay in the long run.

You can quit e-mailing anytime. Everyone charges for Handling, it is not a strange thing I just decided to do.
And frankly I don't care about your feedback.

Sorry to
dissapoint you. I promise not to write again if you could explain to me
why you get so
upset by a simple question and why you can't specify your handling
fee. My point
again is that off course buyers should pay actual (no more, no less)
shipping costs
and if presented with a specified handling fee I could choose to accept
or not before
bidding.
You could check
my feedback (Zenith5106) to see that I'm no troublemaker.
All I wanted
was an honest reply.
Have a good day !

Believe me I
won't. You must have missed the whole point if you connsider one who
wants to have a
clear message a troublemaker. And do me and all the rest of the
eBay community a
favor and strike "honesty" from your future adds.

Do me a big favor
and don't ever bid on any of my auctions. You just seem
like a trouble
maker.

Well, some charge
for handling others don't. The point is that most of the ones
who do do it up
front and don't hide it. If you choose to charge $20-$25 for
handling, please
specify so bidders have a clear picture, especially since you
claim honesty in
the add ! And by the way how much does an overseas shipment
differ from a
domestic ? I can't believe that you don't pack domestic
shipments or
ship them through
the postoffice, or ?
I won't for a
second dispute that actual shipping costs should be payed for by the
buyer but I want
to know exactly what I pay for. Not really an unrealistical demand.
So many times
have I been overcharged by sellers on shipping. That's why I'm so
concerned. My
favourite example is one seller quoting over $40 for shipping one item.
When I
(truthfully) told him I recently had a similar item shipped for $28 he
immediately
matched that
and when the package arrived the actual was about $22. He probably
considered himself
honest too.
Bottomline is
that you didn't answer neither of my qustions. If you don't want to sell just
say so.

Obviously no
company can afford to not charge for handling because
I have to package
the unit and then drive it to the USPS and wait in line to
ship. So, I ask
you how can I afford to do that without charging for it?
If you
want to buy something form another contry you have to pay the cost of
shipping. I
am not being unreasonable it is expensive & time consuming to
ship over seas.

Sorry to argue
with you but it's just that I have had similar items shipped
from the US for
considerable less. Your add doesn't say anything about
handling fees.
Could you, please, specify ? What is your estimated total
weight of the
package ?

The weight in the
listing must be a mistake from my listing multiple
items and
forgetting to change the weight. The shipping will be
far,
please tell me your location and I will get
you a quote to which I willl
hold if you are
the winner.

Dear gdgssales,
I might be
interested in this unit but being overseas I'm very concerned about
shipping costs
and will not accept overpaying. You mention honesty and
integrity in the
add so how do you figure 18 lbs when the net weight
according to the original manual is 4.5 lbs ???
